The effects of the body shaping massage on fat tissues

Abstract

Excessive body adiposity due to overweight and obesity can lead to the accumulation of fatty tissue in certain parts of the body. There are reports, stating that the massage intended for body "modeling" through its specific techniques, modeling massage acts directly on adipocytes, with the promise of sculpting or / modeling such cells. It turns out that such an approach has sufficient physiological influences for the proposed objective to be achieved, that is, the modeling of localized fat. This study aimed to describe, through physiological action, the possibility of modeling the body with the technique of modeling massage, through bibliographic research. With the results found, the possibility of modeling localized fat was observed, thus showing that this technique to be able for this purpose.
