Functional training for weight loss in overweight and obese women

Abstract

Functional Physical Training is training that respects and enhances joint functions, whether mobility or stability. Its main objective is to train the body through movement patterns with exercises that seek to enhance the integration between the nervous, muscular and skeletal systems, as well as helping in the weight loss process, which is the reduction of blood pressure and improvement in lipid patterns. and serum glucose, as well as helping in the process of gaining lean mass. Due to the increase in the number of people with obesity, it is a disease that affects all nations, being considered a global epidemic that affects individuals at all socioeconomic levels. The objective of this study is to identify the effects of Functional Training on weight loss in overweight and obese women, due to the increase in the number of overweight people currently, this number is only growing, due to the lack of physical exercise, along with the absence of a healthy diet. The research will be based on renowned literary content published in books, articles and scientific journals, among others. Therefore, the present study seeks to help and show the importance of practicing physical exercise, together with a good diet, showing that it is possible to achieve the desired results.
