Easter through the centuries

Abstract

The present article written with approximately seven thousand and eight hundred terms, covers about two thousand and six hundred years with the intention of clarifying one of the main Jewish festivals, namely: Pesach. This feast promotes the "start" of Israel's biblical calendar as well as fits all other feasts in the Bible. You, dear reader, will understand “en passant”, its meaning, its importance and the ritualistic process that involved the entire Israeli community. Pesach subjectively cites the identity, characteristics, memory, and culture of the people of Israel about their departure from Egypt through the deliverance of the Gd of Israel. Archeology, anthropology and historians still debate the legitimacy of this event, which, in turn, was established as an event consecrated by the Jews, as well as celebrated through the centuries. The reading of this content will clarify certain inaccuracies of the historical and ritualistic perspective on the ceremonial, commemoration and importance for the Jewish people about this festivity. Far from covering the whole (this is not the purpose), this document intends to value and moderate the understanding of the meaning of Easter.
